BREAKING: Iran Nuclear Program Buried Deep Underground Iran Say,US Have to Come In,Get It, For A Deal—Thiessen

According to a report by Fox News, on Tuesday June 9, 2026, Fox News contributor and Washington Post columnist Marc Thiessen lauded recent U.S. military strikes against Iran, calling the directive to launch the dual-pronged campaign one of the boldest decisions by a commander-in-chief in modern history.

Thiessen urged analysts and policymakers to recognize the scale of what the strikes achieved before debating the terms of any ongoing regional ceasefire.

Thiessen framed the strategic operations dubbed Operation Midnight Hammer and Operation Epic Fury as highly decisive actions that fundamentally altered the landscape of the Middle East, crippling threats that previous administrations had struggled to contain.

“Before we talk about where we’re going, let’s talk just for a second about where we’ve been and how far we’ve come,” Thiessen insisted. “Because as you said, the operation the decision to launch Operation Midnight Hammer and Operation Epic Fury is one of the most courageous decisions any president has made in my lifetime.”

Focusing specifically on Operation Midnight Hammer, the columnist detailed the extensive damage dealt to Iran’s subterranean nuclear enrichment assets.

According to Thiessen, the strikes were so structurally devastating that the Iranian regime can no longer even access its own remaining materials without foreign intervention.

“Midnight Hammer buried the Iranian nuclear program so deep in the ground that the Iranians have told us, ‘We can’t they can’t get it. We have to come in and get it if there’s going to be a deal,'” Thiessen revealed.

He added that key technical infrastructure required to build a weapon has been entirely wiped out by the precise, heavy-ordnance bombing campaign.

“The centrifuges have been rendered inoperable,” Thiessen explained. “The conversion facility has been destroyed. Their nuclear program is set back, decades.”
