Phrank Shaibu, spokesperson to former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, has stated that Atiku has several aides who are Christians
In an interview with Channels Television, Shaibu said he is a Christian and Atiku’s personal physician of more than 20 years is a Christian.
Shaibu said Atiku’s chief steward is also a Christian. He said that on some mornings, Atiku would tell visitors that breakfast would not be served until his Christian aides returned from church
Shaibu further stated that Atiku shows respect for the religious practices of those working for him.
In Shaibu’s words: “Atiku’s personal physician of over 20 years is a Christian, he has so many aides who are Christians. As far as Atiku is concerned, religion does not even matter to him. In fact, his Chief steward is a Christian. And sometimes when you come to Atiku’s house In the morning, he will tell you ‘Until they come back from Church, there is no breakfast in my house'”
