Deputy Speaker, Benue State House of Assembly (BNHA), Rt. Hon Lami Danladi has secured the ticket of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for Ado State Constituency.
Lami Danladi beat three other male contestants to clinch the APC ticket for the constituency and to emerge as the candidate of the APC for the 2027 general election.
The Returning Officer of the State Assembly primary election for Ado State Constituency, Comrade Akaater Abraham, declared Danladi the winner, “having satisfied all conditions for the election.”
Hon. Lami Danladi Ogenyi polled a total of 7,132 votes, out of a total accredited number of 8,767 voters in Ado State Constituency.
The aspirants who lost to the Deputy Speaker in the race are Mark Attah Ochoga, 264 votes; Dickson Otokpa,180 votes; while Iduh Godswill, polled 143 votes.
