ADC: After The Convention We Followed Up With The Ibadan Meeting Which APC Didn’t See Coming – Salihu

ADC chieftain Ladan Salihu has disclosed details of strategic political moves made by his party, highlighting a deliberate effort to outmaneuver their opponents through careful planning and secrecy.

Speaking during an interview on Channels Television on Sunday, April 26, 2026, Salihu explained that the party’s activities did not end with their convention. Instead, they immediately followed it up with another significant meeting held in Ibadan, a development he suggested caught the ruling APC off guard.

According to him, the decision to organize the Ibadan meeting without public knowledge was intentional and formed part of a broader strategy to maintain an element of surprise.

He emphasized that the party leadership consciously chose not to publicize the gathering in advance, thereby preventing their political rivals from anticipating or reacting to their next move. This approach, he implied, gave the ADC a tactical advantage in its ongoing political engagements.

“In his words,” Salihu stated, “After the convention, we followed up with this Ibadan meeting which they didn’t see coming, you know, because we deliberately refused to make it public.”
