Popular Nigerian cleric, Primate Elijah Ayodele, has warned the Governor of Adamawa State, Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, against pursuing a Senate ambition ahead of the 2027 general elections.
According to the cleric, Governor Fintiri may face serious political setbacks if he decides to contest for a Senate seat, stressing that the governor’s popularity among his people is gradually declining.
Primate Ayodele, who spoke during a recent prophetic declaration, claimed that many residents in the state are no longer satisfied with the governor’s political direction and leadership style; He cautioned that ignoring the growing dissatisfaction among the people could cost Fintiri dearly at the polls.
“You may lose that Senate seat if care is not taken; Your people don’t like you again,” the cleric reportedly warned.
The prophet further advised the governor to focus on reconnecting with the grassroots and addressing the concerns of citizens instead of relying on political influence or party structure alone.
