With only one game remaining for each competitor on the Goal scorer’s list, the competition for the Turkish Super League season of 2025/26 will soon be over, and the race will continue until the season’s final day.
With 22 goals in 29 games for Trabzonspor, Paul Onuachu is now the top scorer in the Turkish Super League. The Nigerian striker has just one goal left to score, while Shomurodov of Basaksehir, who has been a formidable opponent for him this season, is currently in the lead. Despite not scoring in Trabzonspor’s 2-1 win against Besiktas on Saturday, Paul Onuachu continues to be the top scorer in the league. Onuachu is also ahead of last season’s Golden Boot winner Victor Osimhen by seven goals, demonstrating how well he has done this season. Even with a game remaining, Paul is the front runner for the prize right now.
In Basaksehir’s 3-0 win against Samsunspor, Shomurodov of Basaksehir converted from the penalty spot, giving him 21 goals in 33 games this season. If Paul Onuachu was unable to score any more goals in Trabzonspor’s last game of the season against Genclerbirligi, the Uzbek striker would only need two goals to win the Golden Boot award this year.

Galatasaray’s Victor Osimhen scored two goals for his team in their 4-2 title-winning match against Antalyaspor on Saturday. Osimhen’s two goals were enough to win the championship, but not nearly enough to win the Golden Boot Award this year. With his brace, his total goal count increased to 15, only 6 goals behind Shomurodov, who is in second place, and 7 goals behind his fellow countryman Paul Onuachu. The Golden Boot Award in the Turkish Super League is currently close to being won by Paul Onuachu, Shomurodov, and Talisca, with the victor only being determined during the final league games for each player.
